Busy weeks bring true meaning to the common term, Weekend Warriors. It’s all about cramming those 48-hours with good times. Last Saturday I was invited to do a little day trippin’ with Craig Williams, Cam Weishaar and Adam Cassidy from Ultimate Distribution. The task at hand was to skate the new park up in Pemberton, BC, which is 30 klicks north of Whistler, and hit some epic distractions on the way back to Vancouver. 8 hours well spent…

Craig keeps it moving with a cup of Canadiana on the road.

The Pemberton park’s backyard. Not too shabby.

Cam was running stylish backsmiths on the tight quarter…

…and Craigers followed up with a string of frontside ollies.

Adam piped up with his first deep-end frontside slash in Pemby’s pool, avoiding the dreaded Death Box.

Jimmy Miller made a guest appearance and shralped the pool with tricks like this feeble to fakie in the deep end, which is about 9-feet.

Another guest appearance: Scott Decenzo rolled in with some Coastal bros and Adam was hyped.

AC almost blasted right out of the frame with his frontside ollie on the tranny hip.

Shannon Falls was next up and the run-off was raging from all the snow the area got this winter. Craigers may be skilled at making cigar box guitars, but it took him a while to spot the dog’s face sticking out of the falls.

Last stop on the way home was Brohm Lake near Squamish. AC runs a serious farmer tan, so his torso-tone caused a lens flare on his way into the frigid waters.
Where are we goin' this weekend?
