The Future of Snowboarding (Two Examples)
Posted On Apr 26 2010, 09:46 AM by Matt Houghton

Those concerned about the future of snowboarding need look no further than the following two examples:

Exhibit A: This video of a 1.3 year-old American baby named Ave Marie snowboarding (and giving out solid high-fives) at Mammoth Mountain, California. So yes, this is literally a baby snowboarding. One could question the safety of letting your infant charge down the slopes, but when you watch the video it's obvious that wee Ava Marie is having a good time.

Exhibit B: Canadian snowboard legend Devun Walsh and his lovely wife Julia had a baby, named Emilia Grace, on April 15th (8 pounds, 11 ounces). If even 10% of Devun's arguably inhuman snowboard talent and style are passed down to Emilia, we'll have a new force in the world of women's snowboarding in about 10 years or so... or perhaps sooner if they follow the lead of Ave Marie's parents.

Thanks to Boardistan for the baby shredder link, and to Superheroes Management for the Devun link.
