People Sniping At The Telus World Ski and Snowboard Festival

During the Telus Festival, people get drunk, some do stupid things – allowing any form of logic to fly right out the window – whilst the strong-livered folk party right on through like they were a bunch of frat kids hot off the bus, cranked up on booze, ready to paint the town red for spring break. Flying by the seat of my snowboard pants, I tried to hold on long enough to capture the essence of this week-long fiesta. Beyond the world of snowboarding tricks, exclusive events, and people caught up in what might be considered haute couture within the fashion world, some individuals just seemed to stand out more than others. Making the most of this, the only appropriate way to put a wrap on this Festival was a Shit Yeah/Hell No column. Enjoy the rest of the Festival.

Dear Moonboots, I heart your little hipster-emo boyfriend with skinny jeans and little moccasins, but don't you know that moonboots in the springtime are about as logical as skateboarding the Whistler bowls in crocs? Unless, of course, you rolled out of bed this morning with the desire to rock the hell out of silver spandex and promote lager like the two asses behind you.
