everyone, well here is my first installment for this team blog.
My winter has went pretty well, it was slow to get going with the up and down freezing levels. this has made it tough to get out on the old snowmobile as avalanche conditions have been really scary this year.
other then that it has been a great year riding my local mountain, Mt Seymour. they have a super fun park this year and a have been getting a fair amount of snow, especially over the last few weeks!
below are a few "B" shots from Seymour this season.

The last half of the season and spring riding was good here in BC. Myself, along with some of the Seymour/Party Snake crew had an epic trip to Lake Tahoe in California in March. we could not have timed it better, we arrived just after the best snow of the season arrived down there which in turn made the trip one of the most productive trips I have been on, ever!
Check out this blog entry from lake Tahoe resident and legendary snowboarder Jeremy Jones for further evidence of how sick the snow was last week.

On that note, since your on his page check out P.O.W (protect our winters) this is something that all snowboarders should be aware of since we all rely on the snow to live our lifestyles.

The remainder of the season on the west coast of BC was a good one, We received a few more dumps that let us shred whistler and baker well into May. Also, the third annual word of mouth contest held at Mt Seymour was a great success. The set up was insane thanks to the park staff and organizers. check this link for more on that: http://thefortreport.tumblr.com/
I will leave you with a few of my favourite shots from last year that did not make the Mags. For more on last seasons shreds click here:

enjoy and get out there and Snowboard!
