Battle of Alberta 3 Check it: The third annual Battle of Alberta is on! If you're in the Calgary area, be sure to hit up the Millenium Park on Saturday, July 19th. Four skaters per team, each one from a differebt local shop, will battle for $3,000 in prizes.

Here's another good one for Vancouver residents: The Chapel (located in East Van) will be hosting the first annual AcrossThe Board art exhibition from July 11th to 13th. Who doesn't like art? Well, if you don't, there will also be live music, a barebque and a skate jam, so check it out.

Straight Trippin' Tour July 3rd to 12th: that marks the duration of Emerica's Straight Trippin' Tour (also presented by our friends at vancouverisawesome.com). Check the list of skaters; it's a truly impressive mix, so don't miss out. Or get "assed out" as the flyer says. Yep.
