Push.ca is proud to be presenting Billabong's Canadian Damn Am contest in Vancouver, September 18th-19th, 2009. Fueled by Monster Energy and SBC Skateboard Magazine, Damn Am is returning to Vancouver for it's second year at Bonsor Skatepark. The contest is a feeder event for the Tampa Am in December, sending some skilled winners to Florida to compete.
The contest will consist of a bowl jam on Friday afternoon, and a street contest all day Saturday. There are spots for 20 skaters in the bowl jam and 80 spots in the street contest. All registration must be done in advance by industry team mangers only. So skaters, bug your TMs to get your registration info to Rob Meronek as soon as possible.
Update: Ollie Contest
Canadian Damn Am is stoked to welcome Ollie Pop on as a sponsor of this years event. Ollie Pop will be putting up $600 in cash in the highest ollie contest, which will take place Friday afternoon, Sept. 18th at the event. Skaters will have to pop hard to take home some cash and claim the highest ollie prize. Come down to check out the highest ollie contest, as well as the Push.ca Bowl Jam, and onsite BBQ which will all be kicking off the 2009 Canadian Damn Am.
