4 days (well, 3 plus a weather day) and Charles Reid is $7000 worth of cheese curds and gravy richer (I assume he'll be awarded in cash, and then choose to spend it all on poutine). Keeping last year's winner, Torstein Horgmo, at bay, Reid took the overall title after capturing first place for the first day, second behind...

The first episode of VBS.TV's Powder & Rails series is now online. Covering where snowboarding has come from, with interviews from the early personalities like Steve Graham, Dana Nicholson and Damian Sanders, it's a solid base for the rest of the series to build on. If you missed it, Mack Dawg Productions will not be producing an annual snowboard movie this season, as they've done for the past 20 years [ business.transworld.net ]. If you hadn't figured it out yet, the southern hemisphere is going off. While we're sitting here in the great green north, staring at piles of snow outside arenas (or the for the more industrious, moving those piles and throwing down summer rail sessions), other Canadians, like Seb Toots and more recently Charles Reid...
