Politicians in Quebec are considering making helmets mandatory for snowboarding (among other sports) for the 2009/2010 season. We're not talking just in parks, but everywhere on the hill. Obviously its the safe thing to do, but no one likes being forced into something. With the only other option being leaving the province...

Back for another year, the 2nd annual Westbeach Asian-Canadian Downhill went off on Whistler this past Tuesday, February 24th. After several delays, Stoked is finally out for Xbox 360 (sorry, no PS3 version). Stoked offers a more realistic backcountry approach for those who may be done with Shaun White's videogame offering. I haven't gotten my hands on a copy yet, but IGN has a review up already that seems to be the usual for games like this...
