New Absinthe Teaser: Neverland
Posted On Jul 15 2009, 09:59 PM by encomintor

Big news, kids: Absinthe Films just dropped a teaser for Neverland, its next video release due out this fall. The teaser can only be viewed on the Absinthe site right now, so click here to view it (and we do encourage you to so right now: it's just that good).Neverland was shot in 16MM HD, and judging from the teaser, the quality is downright sharp and crispy.

Judging by the teaser (did we already tell you how good it is?) and the roster of riders, Neverland's going to be a banger. And no, early reports that it was filmed at the late, great Michael Jackson's Neverland Ranch are entirely unsubstantiated. Look for Canadians DCP, Marie-France Roy and Annie Boulanger, plus big-timers like Travis Rice (back in the Absinthe family!), MFM, Gigi Ruff and Nicolas Muller.

And check out an interview Push.ca's Matt Houghton did with Absinthe Films' Justin Hostynek at the Toronto screening of Ready last fall.

And here's a bonus Travis Rice clip!

From Absinthe:

Neverland is a state of mind, a mountain pushed up from the ground by imagination. Anyone can go but most people have trouble with the simple directions: Follow your dreams. This winter Absinthe dropped down the rabbit hole to explore this elusive place and brought back some mind bending tales and a pocketful of surprises. Travis Rice, Dan Brisse, Bode Merrill, Nicolas Müller, Sylvain Bourbousson, JP Solberg, Romain deMarchi, DCP, Marc Frank Montoya, Annie Boulanger, Marie-France Roy, Jules Reymond, Wille Yli-Luoma, Cale Zima, Phil Damianakes, Wolfgang Nyvelt, Kevin Pearce, Eero Ettala, Gigi Rüf and the rest of the Lost Boys continued down the road less traveled and explored some new possibilities during a winter that saw the progression of snowboarding take some giant strides.
